Delicious Apple Crumble
1 can (20 ounces) of apple pie filling
1 box of yellow cake mix
1/2 cup of chopped pecans (optional)
1 1/2 sticks of melted butter
vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
In a baking dish, spread the apple pie filling evenly over the bottom. If you like, combine the cake mix with the chopped pecans and sprinkle it over the apple pie filling.
Pour the melted butter over the cake mix without stirring. If you notice any pooling, gently lift the dish and tilt it side to side to ensure even coverage.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
Serve warm, accompanied by vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if you’d like.
