For children to grasp the impact of their dietary choices, Eat & Move-O-Matic serves as an excellent educational tool. Developed by the Learning Game Lab at New Mexico State University, this app helps kids reflect on their eating habits by comparing the caloric content of their meals with the types and durations of physical activities needed to burn those calories.
Nature Melody

Adequate sleep is vital for children’s health, and the Nature Melody app can assist in achieving this. The app also includes a nap and sleep timer functionality for a soothing conclusion to their day.
NFL Play 60

To instill healthy eating habits in your children, consider the Space Chef app. Developed by the Lawrence Hall of Science, known for its Monster Heart Medic app, this platform educates kids on nutritious food options while offering more than 60 simple and delicious recipes that empower them to take charge of their dietary choices.
Super Stretch Yoga

Yoga is an excellent way for children to unwind and promote physical wellness, and Super Stretch Yoga introduces kids to this practice. Created by renowned yoga instructor Jessica Rosenberg, the app features video demonstrations by peers to teach yoga poses. With a focus on breathing and movement, it showcases 12 different poses suitable for varying skill levels. Children can use the app’s integrated camera to capture images of themselves as they practice.
Three Good Things: A Happiness Journal
Recognizing that mental well-being is linked to a sense of happiness, the app Three Good Things: A Happiness Journal can be a helpful resource for children needing encouragement. This platform invites young users to reflect positively by journaling about three uplifting experiences they have each day.
