“Every morning when I wake in our home on the Sacrashe Vineyard, I reflect on how fortunate I am to share this life with Craig, nurturing grapes like my parents once did, and crafting and enjoying wine with incredible people,” says Kathryn, who has embraced her life to the fullest over the past 42 years, walking vineyards while also thriving as a professional, lawyer, community advocate, and former Ambassador of the United States to Austria. “This doesn’t feel like work to me—this is living a dream.”

A Perfect Score chronicles the Halls’ journey over 20 years, highlighting their triumphs, such as achieving two 100-point ratings from Robert Parker for their 2013 Rainin Vineyard Cabernet and 2010 Exzellenz, alongside over 140 HALL wines scoring 90 points and above. The narrative also encompasses challenges, including a devastating vineyard fire that threatened their early ambitions. Through adversity, the Halls have remained resilient and continue to soak in the breathtaking views of Napa Valley.
