Luka Modric And Wife Vanja Bosnić Relationship – Luke Modric is a Croatian professional footballer who has been married to Vanja Bosnic since 2010.

Luke is a well-known Croatian professional football player who plays as a midfielder for La Liga club Real Madrid and also serves as captain of the Croatian national team.

The athlete competes mainly as a central midfielder but can also play as a defensive midfielder or an attacking midfielder. He is globally considered one of the best midfielders of all time.

Modric is also regarded as the greatest Croatian football player ever. Zadar native Modric’s childhood coincided with the Croatian War of Independence, which displaced his family.

The captain of the Croatian national team Luka Modric has been married to his gorgeous wife, Vanja Bosnic, for more than two decades.

Vanja is mainly known for being the loving wife of the Real Madrid star. Vanja Bosnic was born to her father, Milan Bosnic, a basketball player who had his restaurant.

Reportedly, Vanja’s parents are divorced. As her mother graduated in Economics, she also decided to follow her steps and enrolled at the university for further studies.

Luka and his wife Vanja first met while Vaja served at Mamic sports agency, with the midfielder, one of the clients, while at Dinamo Zagreb. She then left the agency, following her darling to Tottenham.

After four years of dating, they got married in May 2010 in the Croatian capital Zagreb in a private wedding ceremony. After Luka left Mamic, his wife became his agent and tied a monumental deal to take him to Real Madrid in 2012.

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric was born as the oldest child of Stipe Modric from Modrici and Radojka Dopud from Krusevoon, on July 18, 1982, in Zadar, SR Croatia.

His parents initially worked in a knitwear factory. The athlete was raised in the hamlet of Modrici, a part of Zaton Obrovacki, a beautiful village located on the southern slopes of the mountain Velebit.

The athlete spent most of his childhood in the stone house of his paternal grandparents after whom he was named. Their house was located on the road above the hamlet of Modrici.

When the Croatian War of Independence (1991) escalated his family was forced to flee the area. Luka’s grandfather was executed by Serb rebels, a part of the police of SAO Krajina in December 1992 near his house.

The family then became a refugee and lived in the Hotel Kolovare for almost seven years. In such difficult circumstances, he found football as an escape from the world. In 1992, he joined the primary school and sporting academy.

Luka Modric and his wife of 22 years, Vanja Bosnic, have three children together from their marriage. The couple has one son, Ivana, and two daughters, Ema and Sofia.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son Ivano, on June 6, 2010. Nearly after three years, their daughter, Ema, came into the world on April 25, 2013.

Their second daughter, the youngest member of the family of five, Sofia, was born on October 2, 2017. The athlete generally maintains a low profile outside of football. Luka is fluent in Croatian, Spanish, and English and is Roman Catholic.
